Joe - For my money, I would'nt even consider running throw over bags without the supports. I bought the Suzuki part and it bolts right on. Its of high quality chrome and looks good on the bike even without the bags. I have willie and max bags and they have a front and back loop where I just run a 8 inch zip tie through and cinch them down. When i'm done and don't want them on any more, I just clip off the zip ties. Its quick, easy and secure.
